Team Aspire Week 20
We had a fabulous run on Saturday-Week 20. Our run was 15 miles and this was a new accomplishment for many people. Everyone looked fabulous…like they had only run 8 miles. Great job. A big thank you to Beau Shirk who manned the water station. This is Mark Shirk’s brother from out of town. He was visiting and Mark recruited him….I’m guessing he won’t visit during training season again. Kidding. He was a great sport.
This week, Week 21, 16 miles! The route is below. If you enlarge the map, it is a little easier to follow the route. We will go over it in detail on Saturday morning.

Please meet at 6:45 on City Island at the beginning of the Walnut Street (walking) bridge. Gu gel will be available for purchase. Remember it is very important to feul up throughout these longer distance runs.
We are in need of volunteers for the hydration station. We will have one station, but due to the nature of the route, we will pass it 3 times. Ideally, it would be nice to have 2 different volunteers, an early shift and late shift. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are not running and can volunteer or if you can recruit someone.
