Team Aspire
Team Aspire was born in the Spring of 2010 when we decided to challenge our patients, families, friends and neighbors to “get moving” and train to participate in the 2010 Harrisburg Marathon and Relay. To our surprise 86 runners and walkers, people just like you, took the challenge and ran or walked all or part of the 26.2-mile race!
It is no secret that being healthy and fit requires sacrifice and, as we all know, some degree of discomfort. We, at Aspire Urgent Care and Family Medicine, are convinced that there is no better way to achieve wellness than in community. Team Aspire continues to meet every Saturday morning for group runs to encourage and inspire one another as we prepare for our next adventure. That is what Team Aspire is; a community of people who desire to experience the joy of movement and the energy of wellness.
We are especially excited to announce that starting in 2011, Aspire Urgent Care and Family Medicine will be the sponsor of the Harrisburg Marathon and Relay. We anticipate Team Aspire extending into other areas of health and fitness in the days to come.
